Where in the World?
Okay. Back to writing! It's been a while, and I still struggle to find the time and purpose in the limited hours to write. At the moment my focus seems to be on sorting out some place to visit next year in Europe, so I'm combining the two and thought I'd write about the planning of a trip. Next year I will be travelling for a few weeks without my partner, but with our sons who will be 8 and 9 1/2 years at the time. I think the way I plan may be a little different to most, though we all begin in the same spot, asking ourselves what we want to see or do. My priority is to visit places that we will all have fun and to explore. I'm not looking to emerse ourselves in history or art (though we will touch on both) but to wander streets like a local, eat good food, drink too much great coffee and laugh.
